1. Development, application and evaluation of coupled chemistry-aerosol-cloud-radiation model for the production of water-soluble iron (DFe) in ambient particles.  Student/postdoc responsibilities will involve implementation of new pathways for Fe solubilization in the existing GEOS-Chem dust iron mobilization mechanism.  Simulations will be conducted for improved assessment of assessments of DFe fluxes to the oceans.

2. Development, application and evaluation of advanced 3-D atmospheric chemistry-aerosol-cloud model.  Student/postdoc responsibilities will involve implementation of new, physically based marine primary and secondary organic aerosol emission, aerosol activation paprameterization, and improved secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formation modules.
